About Larissa

*Available for a Summer Position* Currently, I am a teacher for Henderson County. I teach 8th grade language arts to students with learning disabilities. I absolutely love my job. Teaching and caring for children of all ages is definitely my main passion and I have been blessed to pursue this passion throughout my life. Since I was 16, I would babysit for a variety of family friends. I have cared for babies as well as older children so I understand the diverse needs at various age levels. During my freshmen and sophomore years of college, I worked at the early learning center on my college campus. There I helped the children with anything they needed including solving a variety of conflicts that may have arisen between the children. Also, during breaks from college and during the summer, I have worked in special education classrooms with children with special needs. All of these experiences have resulted in me being extremely well-rounded and adaptable to the child's needs.
