About Laura

Hi! I am Laura, originally from Colombia and based in the DC area since 2015. It truly brings me joy to be able to spend time with kids and make them happy. I have 8+ years of experience as a nanny and babysitter. In 2015, after I graduated from University in Colombia, I came to the US to learn English and work as a nanny. Since then, I've worked with 3 different families as a nanny, and many others as a babysitter. I have provided child care for children between ages 2-12 for the past 8 years. I can help with cooking/meal prep, crafts, driving to/from activities, Spanish tutoring and music activities (I'm also a Musician/Singer songwriter. I sing and play some instruments like guitar, bass, piano, drums). I see myself as a responsible, lovely, organized, energetic, creative, funny, musical and committed person.
