My first job was when I was 12 and cared for a 6-month-old while her mother worked from home. for the next 16 years I babysat for various friends and children ages 6 months - 13 years old. I nannied for two families full time, a baby girl who turned 1 in April and a 3-year-old and 16-month-old boy with a baby girl addition that came in July for the entirety of 2018 and 2019. We LOVE Laurel! She doesn't feel like just a 'baby-sitter' or 'nanny' to us-if you are able to have her care for your child you're SO lucky. She has been the only non-family member to watch our child and we trust her completely. Our child is always clean, happy, and calm when Laurel watches them. She has also helped with light housework around our house which has been more than helpful to us. Her references that I used prior to hiring her had even nicer things to say about her. I feel so lucky that I was able to find someone like her to watch over my child when I can't!
