About Laurel

Hi! My name is Laurel! I am a Registered Dietitian working in Smithfield, RI. With my job, I typically have availability on weekends/ date nights. All together, I have 7 years of childcare experience. Along with babysitting all age groups, I have worked as a camp counselor for the YMCA, before and after school childcare, and at other summer camps. As a dietitian, of course, I am well-versed in special diets/allergies/health conditions, and love cooking and food! I am comfortable with all ages, am flexible, fun, and enjoy working with children. I have experience in caring for children with special needs such as ASD, Epilepsy, Down Syndrome, and behavioral issues. I have supervisor experience from the YMCA of Pawtucket, working as a Site Director, running a before and after school program at an elementary school in Lincoln, RI. I am very open, a good communicator, and put my best foot forward in everything I do. I can't wait to meet you and work with your family!
