About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren and I am a Social Worker and Teacher looking for both reoccurring and one-time jobs. I graduated University of Vermont with my Bachelor of Social Work before moving to NYC to teach at a small all-girls school in Alphabet City. I have experience teaching children ages 0-14 and absolutely love working with children. Recently, I graduated with my Masters in Social Work and am looking to find jobs that will allow me to stay connected with working with children! I am known by my students to be a loving, caring, accepting, non-judgemental teacher, and would describe my style as "joyful". Coupled with my experience working with children, I also am skilled at working with parents. It takes a village, and truly communication and collaboration is key to me.
