About Lauren

I've worked with children consistently throughout my career. I've taught children since I started working when I was 16. I taught children aged 1 yr-13 yrs old swimming lessons, water safety and CPR training for summer camp. I've taught youth music lessons/tutoring throughout high school and college. I've taught at a multicultural Russian and Spanish immersion school for over a year. I ran the music classroom and developed a music based curriculum and pedagogy in all three languages, as well as developmental music exposure. I also developed their Spanish Music Program, expanding their Russian Program. The schools's students ages range from 3 mos-5 yrs old. My favorite part of working with children is getting to help them learn and grow, experiencing their successes big or little. I enjoy nurturing their growth by giving them the opportunities and attention they need in order to flourish. I find a lot of joy in helping children understand the world and themselves and how they fit in it!
