About Lauren

As a nurturing caregiver with a decade of experience, I am passionate about creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive. My journey began when I was just 13, caring for children of all ages. I have since volunteered at a Montessori pre-school and a public elementary school, and worked as a teaching assistant in Algebra during high school. As a graduate student at Columbia University, originally from Paris, France, but raised in California, I am fluent in English and French. In my role as a caregiver, I prioritize fostering trust, confidence, and compassion within the families I work with. My patient and friendly nature allows me to connect easily with children and build strong relationships. I believe in open communication with parents, ensuring that they are regularly updated about their child's day and any issues that arise. I am comfortable following the family's lead when it comes to enforcing household rules.
