About Lauren

Hi! My first name is Lauren, and I go by the name Lou. I have been nannying and volunteering at elementary and middle schools since I got certified to by Saint Agnes in 2013. I have babysat children from 4 week infants to 13-year-olds! I also worked a summer at a boyscout camp, teaching merit badges to children 11-17. As for professional experience, I worked at the YMCA Stay-and-Play daycare for 2 years. I watched children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, feeding infants to doing the Craft of the Day with the older children. Typically staffed with one to two other people, I watched up to 25 kids, so I'm great with however rambunctious your little ones may get! I also went through a child development class in high school developing lesson plans and activities for kindergarteners, and have been pet sitting and volunteering at animal shelters for years. If you have anything from a dog to a python to a pot belly pig, I'm more than happy to help with them too! I am also fully vaccinated :)
