About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren, I am 23 years old and am currently studying for my Master of Social Work. I have babysat and nannied since high school and have worked in child care on and off through college. The children I have cared for have ranged between the ages of 10 months to 10 years old. I have a long held passion for working with younger children, I love engaging with their imagination and creativity. Further, I am very patient and calm in demeanor and strive to build thoughtful, trusting dynamics with those I care for. During my undergraduate education, I interned at an organization where I led a grief support group for children ages 5-8. That experience was extremely meaningful and reinforced my appreciation for working with younger children and the types of care it requires.
