About Lauryn

I have 8 experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have varying abilities. I worked as a Lead Preschool Teacher and Supervisor for 2 years, gaining my CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification. I'm used to large and small groups of children - during my time at the preschool I would provide care to 12 children autonomously. I currently hold an AA in communication and am completing my last class to earn my BA in Psychology with a concentration on children and adolescents. I love assisting with academics and expanding creativity through crafts and sensory play. My goal when looking after children/adolescents is to help them grow their emotional intelligence skills, so they can become better communicators by learning to self regulate and identify their emotions in a safe and warm environment.
