I'd describe my personality as friendly, patient, and nurturing. I like tutoring because I love helping children build on their strengths and work on their weaknesses. I use engaging activities that match the way that they learn best. I create lessons that match each child's abilities and pace. I also show parents how they can help their child in user-friendly ways. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help your child reach their academic goals. I started tutoring when I began teaching almost 30 years ago. In my spare time, I like to create crafts, paint, spend quiet time by the pool, go to the gym, and visit friends and family. One thing you should know about me is I expect your child to be able to interact with me in a positive way during lessons. My skills include being able to assess your child's abilities to find their strengths and weaknesses. I create activities that match a student's needs, I also help nervous or shy children feel comfortable.
