Lindaya was highly recommended by a friend and was to come in to assist our new nanny while we went on a weekend anniversary trip. We have 7 children (ages 5 months - 9 yrs) and Lindaya, hands down, exceeded our expectations. She was to assist the our new nanny in reproducing the structure we have in place so that its routine and automatic. Lindaya was given the schedule and not only followed it to the letter but also incorporated fun activities to help the children understand the importance of the tasks and the schedule. Lindaya prepared meals and snacks for the children and checked in daily with the children, who always had stories about what they did that day. She also was sure to call if she had any questions or concerns. She stayed overnight to relieve our live-out nanny and was able to get our 5 month on a solid sleep schedule as well as get our 1 year old to sleep in her own bed in the room she shares with her sisters. Unexpectedly, our trip went from being 3 days to 5 days but Lindaya and the nanny handle it without a problem. When we arrived, to our surprise the house was a different level of clean than expected and Lindaya quickly announced that it was all the children. We were amazed at how quickly she was able to put the children on a routine and I now see why she's known as the child whisperer. Even our nanny said that she was great with the children and that she learned a lot by how Lindaya handled them with such care and respect, while encouraging autonomy. I love that she assigned all the children age-appropriate tasks that they were happy to complete. They couldn't wait to tell me and Dad all that they had done. She really exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to feel secure about the care their child is receiving.
