About Lindsey

I'd describe my personality as kind, nurturing and easy-going. I like working with kids because I love watching them learn and grow. I love seeing kids accomplish milestones and cheering them on along the way! Being silly and living in the moment is also great for my own mental health. I make sure each child I work with feels safe, loved and happy. I started working with kids when I was 17 & began babysitting my nieces weekly. Then I moved across the state for college & began working as a teacher at a daycare center where I've worked with children ages 0-12 for one year. I now work full-time on the support staff of a children and family services center. In my spare time, I like to shop, practice yoga and spend time with close friends and family. I have a condition called post-traumatic stress disorder in which I get startled and overwhelmed easily and prefer low-key, lower-stress jobs to keep me in good health. My skills include communication, patience and persistence.
