About Lisa

I'm passionate about childcare, and have over 20 years experience providing quality care for children of all ages. I owned and operated a licensed in-home daycare for 17 years. I am married, and will be celebrating my 24th wedding anniversary on September 16th. We have two sons that are now grown, and I also have a stepdaughter, that has given me four wonderful grandchildren. I have worked a total of eight years as a Para Professional and a Special Education Behaviorist, with cognitive impaired, and autistic children. I have 131 credits Specializing in Childhood Development. I am also certified in First Aid and CPR. My creativity, patience, and calm nature allow me to create a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating with parents about their child's day or any issues that may arise. I also follow the parents' preferred communication method.
