About Lisa

In my current role I am responsible for delivering creative learning and play activities to up to 18 children aged three-to-five. I also work with my Lead Teacher and another full time Assistant Teacher to develop age appropriate activities throughout the day using the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards. I observe and document on each child s development and conduct, and developing solid rapport with children, families and staff. My classroom team and I work closely with our special educational consultant on providing the best inclusive environment possible to each of our students. In addition to being a very organized assistant teacher I am fully qualified, with an Associates in Early Childhood Education and with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Culture with a minor in education. I also hold a current first aid certificate, including anaphylaxis and asthma training.
