About Lisa

I spent five years teaching elementary-aged children in New York City public schools. I initially specialized in science education for grades 2 through 5 but also served as a classroom teacher, where I had a reputation for working well with special needs students and high-energy boys. My secret to being a well-loved teacher was the energy and enthusiasm I brought to the subjects and my commitment to reaching every student. In my three plus years of babysitting experience, my families appreciated my punctuality, reliability and willingness to help out in a pinch. I am happy to help with household chores, cooking and laundry.
