About Lonnie

I am dependable, nurturing, and affectionate. I have raised two children who now have families of their own. In my most recent position I was with a wonderful family for 4 years. Before that, I dedicated five years of service at a Christian childcare/school facility. I served as the cook and as an assistant teacher, responsible for overseeing arts and crafts activities. I've also had experience caring for a family with three children ranging from 18 months to 8 years old. I am at ease with pets and have a reliable car with a clean driving record. Outside of my caregiving experience, I have been involved in community theater, where I had the privilege of portraying the Wicked Witch in 'The Wizard of Oz.' I am an avid reader and believe in the importance of reading to children daily. Furthermore, I advocate for engaging in activities like games and outdoor play over excessive television time. I hold the belief that children are precious gifts from God and should be cherished as such.
