About Lora

I have been working in child care since I was a teenager. From babysitting to professional childcare settings I have done it all. I love working with children and I truly believe it is my passion in life. I have worked in a child care center for the last year and have found it be a very rewarding experience. In my current position I have particularly enjoyed developing the curriculum and planning and implementing of art and sensory activities for the children. My diverse and intense academic, professional, and leadership experiences have made me a valuable asset to many positions. I am passionate about working with children and providing care towards their educational, social and developmental growth. I have a highly artistic background which allows me to teach and have children explore in the most creative ways. My friendly and upbeat nature means I have a knack for connecting with children and adults from diverse backgrounds. Child safety and classroom management is always at the forefront of my mind and I am able to maintain a calm and collected mind-set during stressful situations.
