At the age of 16 I begin caring for my mother who was very fragile due to severe rheumatoid arthritis. I also cared for her through a total knee replacement. For 2 years I also helped care for my great grandmother who had dementia. I became a cna in 2014. I've worked with clients with many different illnesses and conditions in different types of facilities, mostly home care but also have worked in long-term care, group homes, and assisted living facilities. Im trustworthy, dependable, reliable and I've always been a caring person and would love to be able to help your family.

Lucretia has cared for my 85 y/o mother-in-law, Mimi, on a full-time weekday basis for the past year. Lucretia is trustworthy, dependable, and honest. She always shows up for work and is willing to stay late or work occasional weekends, including overnight care, when asked. Lucretia has a gentle, kind spirit and a good sense of humor. My mother-in-law feels very comfortable with her. Each weekday, Lucretia would arrive at our home in the morning, awaken Mimi if she wasn’t already up, shower her, have coffee with her, prepare her breakfast, lunch and often times her dinner, and dine with her. Lucretia was responsible for Mimi’s laundry and keeping Mimi’s bedroom and bathroom clean. Additionally, she always left our kitchen neat and clean each day. Lucretia has very reliable transportation and loved taking Mimi on rides, lunch outings, and fun excursions. Mimi recently transferred to a memory-care home, and Lucretia is assisting with the transition by visiting Mimi each day for a period of several weeks. Lucretia has become part of the family, and we wish we could keep her forever! I’m more than happy to answer any questions you may have in considering Lucretia for employment.
