I'm a former teacher (music, theatre, English, ESL, and more) and a writer. I raised two children, one who is adopted. Since my early 20s I have worked with children and teens as a tutor, teacher, and mentor. It's always been a joy to be around kids and teens because of their wonderful perspective on life. I am certified in Special Education and am very interested in learning about specific needs of children. I've worked in elementary, middle, and high school, including a live-in program for teens in the foster care system.
