About Lydia

Hi, my name is Lydia, I am 18 years old and have lived in Fort Edward, NY my whole life. I am the youngest of three kids, my dad is a local pastor, and my mom homeschooled all three of us growing up. I graduated high school this past spring and am taking a year off to work and figure out what is next. I am very involved with my church; I have served in our nursery ministry since I was 10, I have been on many mission trips that were focused on serving children, including an overseas trip to Hungary where none of the kids spoke English. I have worked at a local ice cream shop for 4 years now and this past summer I worked at a family camp where I took care of, at the most 40, 2-year-old's every day. I have been babysitting for 6 years, and have watched up to 5 siblings at a time, along with volunteering for a local MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group up until COVID-19 hit. I genuinely love kids and would love to be given the opportunity to grow and learn throughout this process.
