About Lyla

Hello Families! I have studied art both in and out of school my entire life. I have been babysitting for over six years and have experience working with disabled children in both educational and casual settings. I'm an NYC native, so I know my way around the city and can find the best spots for fun adventures with the kids. When working with children, I prioritize modeling respect, empathy, cooperation, and creative thinking. Aside from art and babysitting, I am very passionate about social justice and accessibility. I love working with children because I appreciate the way they see the world. Kids often have a much larger and imaginative view of our communities and the environment around us, and I find helping to support and develop this view incredibly fulfilling.
