I have taught in San Diego Unified for 30 years with the special education department. My career was working with students with emotional and behavioral issues in a separate school setting. I have experience in grades 1 to 8. I have a multiple subject and mild moderate special education credentials, an AASD (autism) certificate and a learning handicapped credential. I have expertise working with students who struggle to learn and have ADHD and roadblocks to learning. All my credentials are active. I also wrote IEPs and have an understanding of all parts of the IEP and state law. I have been in the Poway area and attended local schools and University.
