About Mackenzie

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, empathetic, and flexible. I like tutoring because it allows me to help students who are struggling see how smart they are and give them help to build upon skills they need support in. I'm looking for a job that allows me to tutor in the evening. I have 3 children of my own and as a teacher I am off during the summer. I will need to be home during the days. I started tutoring when I was in college. I am 39 years old and am a certified special education teacher. I also have my 5-12th grade English certification. I have been teaching for 16 years. In my spare time, I like to read, bake, run in 5ks and spend time with my family.
