About Maddie

Hi! I'm Maddie! I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a licensed special education teacher working in a therapeutic day school for learners with autism. I'd love to support your child's learning through tutoring! I'm most passionate about teaching reading as I believe reading is one of the most important skills to learn! I am dedicated to making learning fun, developmentally-appropriate, and interest-based for your learner. I've previously tutored in math and reading at Gigi's Playhouse and privately, coached adaptive sports, have provided therapy within ABA-based centers and schools, coached at an autism extreme sports camp, and taught social skills at an autism center. I have experience teaching concepts such as phonics, phonemic awareness, blending, comprehension, and more! I'm available weekday afternoons/evenings as well as weekends!
