About Madeleine

Hi, my name is Maddie! I've been teaching/tutoring children (TK-6) professionally since 2016, as an Educational Assistant in a gen Ed classroom. I work one on one, small group, and whole group. I also teach ESL students, working with newcomer curriculum. I have much experience teaching students who are on the Autism spectrum, have ADHD, and other developmental and social/emotional delays. I am very passionate about education. I take pride in exercising patience, and in being flexible. Recognizing that each child has their own unique challenges and learning styles is key in making progress. Along with their physical safety, the social and emotional well being of children is very important to me. I take each opportunity possible to encourage, upbuild, and be a positive example. My goal in tutoring is to help build confidence in unlocking their academic potential. I am eager to set up your child for success, both in and out of the classroom!
