About Madison

I have 2 wonderful children, my daughter is 7 and my son is 5 years old. I am currently a half-day Preschool teacher, teaching 2 and 3-year-olds, and have been teaching for 3 years now. Prior to teaching, I was a private childcare provider in the Lake Norman area for 5 years. Which puts me at 8 years of experience with children in all different age groups! While I absolutely love what I do at the Preschool, I am looking to add a few more hours to my work week now that my youngest will be in Elementary school this fall. With that being said, I am responsible for school drop-off and pick-up for my children, so my available hours are Monday - Friday approximately 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. I have an Associate's degree, I've passed both an Early Childhood Development and an Early Childhood Education course, I am First Aid and CPR certified, and I have a clean driving record and background check.
