About Maeve

When I was 10 years old I started working with children as a mother's helper in my neighborhood. Ever since then, I have been an after-school babysitter, a full-time summer nanny, a camp counselor, and I worked in the infant and toddler room at a daycare for a year before I left for college. My skills include designing structured activities such as art projects, baking, outdoor activities, and play, caring for infants (changing diapers, preparing and feeding bottles), and CPR and first aid response. In my free time, I love to go on walks, play the guitar and sing, cook, spend time with my friends, and run. I love working with children because I am amazed by their wonder in the world. I study psychology at Denison University, and I am especially interested in child psychology, early childhood development, and early childhood education.
