About Maggie

I graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Liberal Arts, concentration in Humanities. I have 10 years of experience teaching as a lead teacher, most recently at Chatham Day School for seven years as the art teacher for grades preschool through eighth grade, lead preschool teacher & co-lead a mommy and me program. During my tenure at CDS, I wrote and redeveloped my own curriculum. I designed the schools crest, and also had the pleasure designing the school's mascot with my colleges in the Athletic Department. As a gift to the school I designed and constructed the mascot costume "Henry the Hawk" to be worn for school spirit events and basketball games. I founded and coached the school's first cheer leading squad for three years. During the summer months I work at Wardlaw Hartridge as the camp art teacher for 1st-7th grade students. Prior to my experience at CDS I worked with 'at risk' teens at the South Boston Harbor Academy Middle school in Boston, MA. I taught as lead preschool teacher at the Goddard School in Hillsborough, NJ 1n 1998. I am excited to begin a new adventure in the education field.
