About Makenna

I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, adventurous, and empathetic. I love working with children because they find joy in little things. Being around kids fosters a sense of childlike wonder that highlights the simplicity in life. I also appreciate the comedic relief and busy nature of kids. I am looking for a part time job that fits my schedule. I will start a grad school program at the end of June, and my classes are Monday through Wednesday from 8-2. I was a babysitter for several neighbors and family friends throughout high school. Since being in college, I have worked summers as a day camp counselor. In my spare time, I like to explore new places by running or bike rides. One thing you should know about me is I am from Pennsylvania! I moved here in the middle of June and I'm excited for this new opportunity! I like to find creative ways for kids to have fun, I can be flexible with their wants/needs, and I am understanding of a child's differing perspective.
