About Makenna

I have had the honor of working with children from ages 4 months to 14 years old for 4 years. I have been able to care for children by teaching swim lessons, lifeguarding, babysitting, and nannying. I also have experience in tutoring and substituting for school-aged children. I am currently studying Adolescent Spanish Education at SUNY Cortland which has provided me with a wonderful education in how to teach and care for children. I have a passion for guiding, teaching, and being around children and have decided to become a teacher for a future career. In the meantime, I would love to be able to help a family take care of their loved ones by providing opportunities to learn, have fun and be creative. I love art, music, reading, swimming, and sports, all of which I am comfortable supervising children with! I hope to be able to take care of and create meaningful relationships with your children and your family!
