About Marcia

I am a retired teacher from Jamaica with 36 years experience working with children from 6 years old to 12 years old. I am also a trained guidance counselor/social worker. I am the mother of two boys and grandmother of four boys. I love working with children. I homeschool my two youngest grandchildren. Any child entrusted to my supervision will be well taken care of, adequately nurtured and protected at all times. I'd describe my personality as caring. observant and patient. I like working with kids because I believe that I have been blessed with the gift of inspiring them to dream and work hard to reach their goals. I'm looking for a job that will give me an opportunity to be a positive influence on children. Weekends would be the perfect time for me to babysit. I started working with kids when 1982 In my spare time, I like to read, watch television, play games. One thing you should know about me is a caring person, jovial and easy to get along with.
