I have over 25 years of experience as a caregiver, 10+ of my years have been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care . I have experience bathing, dressing, daily living needs, doing medications, feedings, giving breathing treatments, monitoring vitals, applying oxygen when needed, interacting with family members, assisting with appointments, interacting with Dr's, running errands, cooking, light housekeeping, companionship, being with clients while they are in the hospital or nursing home to make sure their needs are being taken care of correctly and keeping family members up to date on their care and needs, assisting a client with anything they need help with. My last client I was with for over 10 years including the last 5 months that he was in the nursing home helping with feedings, doing breathing treatments, interacting with nurses, making sure needs were being meet properly while there.
