About Margaret

I worked at a daycare center for multiple years, caring for children ranging in age from 10 yrs. old to newborn babies. I have also babysat and nannied children age 9-15, and tutored 7-11-year-olds. I have a passion for learning that I love to share with the kids that I work with, and I am also passionate about safety and silliness. I find immense joy in seeing a child who is able to be safe, comfortable, creative, and themselves! I graduated from Earlham College with a degree in Ceramics and have taught art classes to children and so enjoy seeing kids allow themselves to be free in their creativity. I most recently worked as a camp counselor at a sleep away camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains leading 10-13-year-olds on backpacking trips. I love the outdoors and being in nature with kids! I am moving to the twin cities with my partner on October 1st and am looking for part time work with a great family. I look forward to connecting!
