About Margaret

I have worked in various care provider jobs for more than 10 years. Part of that time was spent at a summer camp where I taught a creative writing class among other things and was in charge of lesson plans and carrying out educational but fun projects. I have also home-schooled a 7th grader on the autism scale with all subjects as well as tutored his sister with all 7th grade subjects. I majored in English and I love working with students and showing them how fun learning can be. I value content but I also strive to help the student learn to love learning. That value will go with them wherever they go, at any age. I have also worked in a school for kids with severe autism and have practiced ABA standards while giving instruction to up to three students at a time, who are all learning different things and are all at different levels of learning.
