About Margot

I am a college educated, creative, empathetic, and organized childcare worker. I'm CPR/First Aid certified and have over four years of professional childcare experience. I have experience working with both neurotypical and neurodivergent children, everywhere from ages 2-12. I have worked in special education, as an art teacher, camp counselor, and of course a sitter! I really love to be creative, get educational in every day moments, and I also like to bake! (I also love both cats and dogs!). I'm very open to traveling with a family if that's required. I deeply enjoy working with children and plan to continue to do so for the rest of my career as I love helping kids grow into authentic, confident individuals, and believe in the use of positive reinforcement and a sensitive, responsive, validating approach to achieve these goals.

We meet Margot years ago when she was a camp counselor at my daughter’s camp. My daughter loved going to camp everyday and spending time with Margot. That is when we decided to use Margot as a babysitter. She was always reliable and we always felt comfortable knowing our daughter was in good hands. Unfortunately for us she moved away otherwise we would still use her to babysit. She has left indelible impression on our daughter, who still speaks highly of her today.
