About Maria

As a caregiver, I'm driven by my passion for nurturing children's growth and development. I hold a nursing degree from Bogota, Colombia, where I gained pediatric care experience. Since moving to the U. S. in the 1980s, I've dedicated my career to both geriatric and childcare while raising my three children. I'm patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. With 20 years of experience, I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating with parents about their child's day or any issues through written daily reports, verbal communication at pickup, or their preferred method. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and I'm happy to help with cooking, meal prep, and light housekeeping. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm fluent in English and Spanish. I'm committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for your child, and I look forward to getting to know your family.
