Hello! My name is Maria. I would like to start saying that above all my professional qualifications, I know I make a difference on my patients lives on how I interact with them. I have a very compassionate heart and a calm personality that brings my patients a sense of peace, safety and belonging. I enjoy assisting my patients with daily activities giving them personal attention. I have experience transferring using assistive device (hoyer lift), bathing, dressing and grooming. I always ensure the accurate timely flow of information by maintaining patients records and updating the healthcare team on patient's status. I am reliable, service-focused with excellent patient-care and charting skills gained through five years of experience as a HHA / CNA; also technically skilled in attending to patients in diverse healthcare conditions and settings. I am First Aid / CPR / AED Certified by the American Heart Association. I can provide a LEVEL 2 Background Check upon request.
