About Maria

I have worked with the elderly and the young. I have experience with patients having back surgery, laminectomy and fusion, bilateral carpal tunnel decompression, hiatal hernia repair, and cardiac catheter after care. I can provide all in-home care after procedures including dressing changes and assist with activities of daily living and bed mobility. Transfer and assisted ambulation with devices can be provided. Vital signs can be taken. I can give patients a safe environment. I provide companionship, conversation, prepare healthy meals and clean up meal-related items, as well as provide medication and appointment reminders. My services also include assisting with personal care, running errands if necessary, doctor visits, washing and ironing laundry and making beds. The most important and most rewarding aspect of my care giving is my wish to add value to your loved one's life. I have good values such as being polite, generous, respectful, trusting, patient, loyal and very serious. I am CPR/First Aid, have taken diabetes and Bone Health Disease Courses. I have worked with physical therapist and RN.
