We hired Maria (Teresa) when my son was only a few months old and I had to go back to work--- in September 2020. I felt completely frazzled as a new mom in the middle of a pandemic and Teresa came in and was so kind to me and so incredible with my son. I was was so privileged to experience how she cared for my son during the time I was working from home and it made the transition back to in-office work so much easier for me. When we first hired Teresa, we requested that she speak Spanish to our son, and now he is fluent in both English and Spanish. As he has grown, Teresa has worked with our son to help him learn new skills, how to share, and to learn his letters, and numbers. She also constantly sings and plays with him. It is clear how much our son enjoys spending time with Teresa. The only reason that we will no longer need Teresa as a nanny is because my husband is making a career change to be with my son more when he starts back to school in the fall. I sincerely cannot recommend Teresa enough. Any family would be lucky to have her care for their children.
