About Maria

Hello! I've been a childcare provider for 10+ years. I am 33 years old and have a Masters in Social Work. I currently work full-time at an Adoption Agency during the week from 8-5 p.m. I am available in the evenings on weekdays and during the weekends to babysit. Recently, I renewed my First Aid and CPR (infant, child and adult) certification. I have a reliable car as well. My experience has included caring for siblings, twins and quadruplets. I've cared for infants, toddlers, school-aged children and supervised teenagers. My personality is outgoing, compassionate, reliable, creative and energetic. I like being outdoors with children, engaging them in reading, creative arts, self-exploration and activities that stimulate their minds (and burn off excess energy!) I'm responsible, approachable and encourage parents to have open communication with me so that I can support their parenting styles. My childcare responsibilities have included: meal preparation, feeding, diaper changes, bathing, administering medications (at a parent's request only), potty training and transporting to activities. I am pet friendly and have provided pet sitting for families I worked for when they were away on vacation as well. My childcare philosophy is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and to be a dependable and caring adult in their lives! Thank you for your time, Maria
