About Maria

Multiple years teaching at the elementary school level. Completed post graduate studies at National University, San Jose California in elementary multiple subject teaching; completed and passed all California State proficiency exams. I enjoy teaching and meeting individual's academic needs. Primary grades k-3 are my favorite. I am an empty nester with a variety of skills, life experience and talents which I will bring to your student /loved one in the area of childcare, education or senior care (through life enrichment and engagement). I am a Certified Dementia Practioner (National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners)- I am extremely creative and have a fun loving personality. I love music playing the piano; I understand the importance of music as it relates to Alzheimers and those with dementia. I look forward to learning how my skills will assist you. I am a licensed certified nursing assistant in the state of Florida. Life Enrichment/Engagement is my speciality.
