About Maria

I am a retired firefighter/paramedic who has not only cared for people my entire adult life, but I have been a pet owner for over 40 years and have cared for people's pets on and off throughout my life, including being a full-time pet sitter for 3 dogs for the better part of 7 years. The owner is in the military and also law enforcement and was either deployed a lot or when he was in town, would be gone from his house well over 12 hours at a time. I absolutely adore animals and have also been a K9 handler for a search and rescue dog. I always seem to have a great connection with dogs and cats and I treat them as if they were my child. I am very responsible and reliable. Supporting animal rescue organizations throughout the country is also something I am passionate about. I would love to be able to help you with your furry children and I would also be willing to help you around your house or with errands, if you have a busy schedule and need some assistance.
