My name is Mariel! I am a junior social work major at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, but I will be in Corpus Christi, TX all summer from mid May to late August! I have experience babysitting 4 kids at once, ages 5-12-- the youngest being non-verbal. I am patient, and I am used to working in fast-paced environments of any kind, so I am attentive to any situation that may present itself. Furthermore, I have taken courses on working with children and adolescents. My schedule will be open, and I am very flexible with hours. I am looking for a summer job, so I can continue to save up for higher education. After completing my MSW, I hope to work with children and adolescents professionally within the field of social work. I am open to anything you need, in addition to childcare, including groceries, errands, rides, etc! In my free time, I enjoy practicing as a self-taught pianist, painting on canvas, cooking fun recipes!
