About Marilyn

I'd describe my personality as patient, reliable and compassionate. I like working with animals because they all have their own unique personalities and they bring a special comfort and laughter to every family. I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling, enjoyable and allows flexibility in my schedule. I started working with animals when I was a kid with my own first dog. I was responsible for all her care and training. I've had one or more cats or dogs in my household ever since. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my kids and grandkids, ride my bike, read and watch movies. One thing you should know about me is I am a natural caregiver. I ran a daycare out of my home for 8 years when my kids were young, I've volunteered and worked at multiple facilities doing childcare and working with elderly and done pet sitting many times for family & neighbors. My skills include patience, attention to detail if any special care is needed, and always keep them active and entertained.
