About Marissa

I graduated from Creighton University with a bachelor's degree in psychology. I have several work and volunteer experiences in working with children. I worked for two years doing one-on-one behavioral therapy with children aged 3 to 7 with autism. I worked at a summer camp in New York for children with social, emotional, and behavioral needs who were between the ages of 10 and 17. I also have previous nannying experience, as I worked one summer full-time with a boy age 13 and a girl age 8 and worked for one year part-time for a family with three boys, 8, 9, and 12, the oldest of whom had intellectual disabilities. I now work as a second grade teacher in Rockville, MD.
