About Marissa

I'd describe my personality as cheerful, kind, and shy. I believe keeping a positive attitude is the best way to overcome challenges. I like working with animals because it allows me to connect with pets on a personal level, experiencing their playful and affectionate nature. I like being able to make pets as comfortable as possible while away from their owner. There is no feeling quite like the bond between a pet's care taker and the pet! At the young age of 12, I began watching my neighbor's border collie and cat. It was an experience that absolutely shifted my future career goals. I have been regularly petsitting and providing services for dog since the age of 16 and there is nothing I love more!
