Through this experience as well as my education I am familiar and confident in adaptive equipment, PEG tube feedings, transfers, medication management, and completion of other activities of daily living. Although my mother has passed away, I understand how a caring and compassionate caregiver can significantly improve the quality of life for an individual. I am also comfortable working with individuals of all ages.
