About Mary

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, fun, and caring. I like working with kids because they are full of life and still in awe of the wonders of the world. I was a first and second grade teacher for 18 years. Little children are medicine for the soul. I'm looking for a job that is interesting, purposeful, and flexible. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I went on to graduate from Rutgers and teach first and second grade for 18 years. I left teaching when I had my son. I homeschooled him all the way through high school and taught in many homeschool co-ops. Teaching has always been part of my adult life. In my spare time I like to read , hike, spend time with friends and family, write poetry, and paint. One thing you should know about me is I am a compassionate, creative, and hardworking person with an excellent work ethic. My skills include engaging children in creative activities, reading to children, and pointing out the wonders of creation .
