About Mary

Hello, My name is MK! I am currently a lead pre-K teachers! I have been in child care in some form for 13 years. The first child I babysat was 10 months old. 2 years later the family had another baby, so I was watching a 2-year-old and a newborn. Since then I have worked with children newborn-middle school age. I was a teacher for 1 year before and after school care, then I was promoted to Interim Site Director for 2 years. Then due to the pandemic my site got shut down. I then started being a Nanny for a 6-year-old. During those 3 years I created a daily schedule that included; Art and Crafts, Reading, Math, and Sensory Activities. We would go on adventures. I would also create a weekly meal and snack menu. The meals would be home cooked and meet the healthy eating pyramid. My favorite thing about working in child care is helping the children reach their learning milestone. I am open to working over nights!
